Choosing the right paper for your wedding invitations can be overwhelming, but it comes down to a few key factors, with cost being the most important for many couples. The lightest paper weight to consider for a quality invitation is 80lb (216 gsm), though heavier weights like 100lb or 120lb offer a more luxurious feel. Popular options include cardstock for durability, cotton paper for a soft, elegant touch, and vellum for sheer overlays. Other materials like recycled paper, linen, and even acrylic provide unique textures and styles.
